Rewriting an application in Berlin

When the scientific review board at the Lorentz Center in Leiden, Netherlands, tells you that your application is not scientific enough, there is only one way to go: Make it scientific enough!

So, we met with Beate Richter in Berlin in order to get our act together and write a better application. Richter has written a Ph.D. dissertation in philosophy about Bildung and the developmental psychology of Robert Kegan.

We worked on our application for six hours and decided that we would rather wait until the next submission deadline and make a roundtable with some more researchers before writing any more. But we had a great day and many fruitful discussions about how to approach Bildung scientifically.
